Safeguarding comes first..
At Eagle Park School the safety and protection of our pupils is of the utmost importance. We follow rigorous safeguarding procedures and staff expected to share this ethos.
All our staff regularly complete training and are clear on school policies and expectations.
We work in partnership with a variety of support agencies including, Children’s Services and CAMHS to achieve the best possible outcomes for each of our pupils.
We place a high value on the support of parents/carers and believe that we can best serve our pupils by working as a team. We operate an open door policy and encourage parents/carers to share any concerns they may have directly with our headteacher and designated safeguarding lead.
We take all concerns seriously and ensure appropriate action is taken after consultation with relevant agencies. If you have any concerns please call the school office who will immediately connect you with our DSL. If you should need to contact us urgently outside of school hours or during school holidays please email admin@eagleparkschool.co.uk and we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible.
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families has a role to play. In order to fulfil this responsibility effectively, all practitioners should make sure their approach is child centred. This means that they should consider, at all times, what is in the best interests of the child.
